Morningstar Foundation

Morningstar Foundation, a not-for-profit corporation, exists to promote, hold assets and raise funds for the benefit of Rusty’s Morningstar Ranch.

You can help raise funds for the Morningstar Foundation for Adults with Autism when doing everyday activities, like grocery shopping or searching for information on the Internet.

* Goodsearch.com – Use this search engine that donates 1/2 its revenue to charities – enter Morningstar Foundation for Adults with Autism and we will receive about $0.01 per search. Set Goodsearch as your homepage or download the Goodsearch toolbar.
* iGive – Whether shopping or just surfing the web, iGive donates a percentage of sales to participating nonprofits.  Enter Morningstar Foundation for Adults with Autism and we receive a percentage of sale on purchases.
* eScrip – You can register online at www.escrip.com or call 800-801-4973. Have your Saveway Club Card number available and any other credit or department store cards you would like to register. Morningstar Foundations identification number is 10764250

Other ways to raise funds include:

* Arizona State Tax Credit – Depending on your filing status, Arizona State residents can donate up to $400 per year to be directly deducted from your contable income at tax time.
* Bequests – Remember Morningstar Foundation in your will. Bequests should be made to Morningstar Foundation.
* Donations – Tax-deductible donations are always welcomed, and lovingly received. Cash, real estate and securities are all accepted with gratitude. Some have named Morningstar Foundation as the beneficiary of their life insurance policy.
* Memorials – Honor the memory of friends or loved ones by contributing to the Foundation in his/her memory.
* Honoraria – Contributions in honor of birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions make a wonderful gift that continues to give, long after the celebration.

At present there are four main ways in which gifts are used:

1. General Operating
2. Building Fund
3. Endowment
4. Special Programs

You may stipulate your preference for one of these or another of your choice. In the absence of stipulation, gifts are used where they are most needed at the time they are received.
